Renter leaves without paying

A man rented a room from a couple who have a house near the bible college,Kalk Bay,and left in the early hours of the morning without paying rent. They have since found other people in Muizenberg to whom he did the same thing. His name is Paul and he is short,about 1.55m tall (about 5’2″). He is “white”,blond with blue eyes and stutters. He said he was travelling in South Africa but had been living in the USA,just here for the sea and sun. At first he paid,then said he would be paying as soon as a client paid,and gave a hammock-chair (which he makes for a living) as a sign of good faith. He then disappeared. The couple say they would like others to be aware of this man.
