A man who breaks in at lunch time was back in Clovelly. A house in Clovelly Road was broken into on Thursday at 1.30pm on 27 October and,before the security company responded to the alarm,the man got away with an iPod and camera. We have evidence that it was a man wearing a [...] We have had a spate of break-ins along the mountain edge. In one,a resident walking high up on the mountain saw two men walking on another path,one carrying something large,rectangular and flat,the other a bag. He and another resident tried to search where those men had been seen but couldn’t find [...] We didn’t know what they had done but we knew they had done something –and we were right. They had broken into a house in Clovelly Road and we found ample evidence after they were found lying in the reeds next to the Silvermine River. [...] Another mountainside house was broken into,in the early hours of Saturday morning 13 August. The resident had gone away for the night and not set the alarm as the dog was left in the house. We know that two men walked into Clovelly just after 1am and left just before 5am,spending most of [...] On Friday,June 17,we caught two of the three people who broke into a house in Cockle Crescent and,before that,were seen trespassing in Hilton Road. The third person was named by his accomplices and was someone we had seen in Clovelly before. Now he has been arrested after breaking into a Silverglades [...] Three guys in a garden – a prelude to what they hoped would be a successful housebreaking – ended with two arrests and the positive identification of one.
